Meet Your Healthcare Team

Dr. Wade A. Lofton

Dr. Wade A. Lofton was born and raised primarily in Sioux Falls, SD where he graduated from Washington High School in May of 1994.  Dr. Lofton graduated in the top 10% of a class of 500 and excelled in power-lifting and wrestling on a state level; setting many school records.   In September of 1995, Dr. Lofton enrolled in pre-chiropractic at South Dakota State University where he excelled academically on the Dean’s List and wrestled at the NCAA Division II level.  In January of 2001, Dr. Lofton enrolled in Chiropractic school at Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now the Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota.  In May of 2004, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.  Several months post graduation, Dr. Lofton continued his study of the human body and one year later became Federally Certified in Pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  He also became certified in Torque Release Technique, a low force non-linear technique that assesses the function of the brain and spinal cord activity, through reflexive responses in the spine.

Prior to and post graduation from Doctorate School, Dr. Lofton traveled the United States shadowing and learning from many well known Doctors, Management Coaches, and Figures in the Chiropractic profession.  Post graduation, Dr. Lofton spent one year visualizing, studying, perfecting, and praying for God to show him direction as to the time, location, and style of practice that he was called to build.

One morning Dr. Lofton was studying the Bible and he ran across Mark 16:15, which states: Go ye into the World and tell the good news to everyone.  At that instant moment he jumped out of bed and asked his lovely wife if he should become a Pastor and Teacher, so that he could fulfill Mark 16:15.  She responded to him in a kind about way that he should get out of school debt before he thinks of putting himself back into debt.  With discouragement he agreed and proceeded to continue reading.  To his amazement, he came across Mark 16:18, which states: Those who believe shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover.  This was the beginning of a vision that would and is attempting to bring Christ to the forefront in healthcare.  A faith based health care facility that teaches and preaches the good news to everyone (Mark 16:15) and lays hands on the sick with the belief that they will recover (Mark 16:18).

In July of 2005, Dr. Lofton went out in faith and built a brand new 2200 sq. foot free standing building and named it LifeForce Family Chiropractic PA; the first of many faith based health care facilities to come.  Also, in 2005, he and many other doctors went to El Salvador and rendered free health care services to the country for a week, which he was later rewarded by the President of El Salvador with a beautiful signed certificate of appreciation.

In August of 2006, Dr. Lofton and his team at LifeForce Family Chiropractic partnered with Research and Clinical Sciences.   They were proud to be 1 of 220 facilities or clinics in the world with an IRB Approved Research status that was documenting and publishing the amazing changes in quality of life through chiropractic care.  All research participants subjective and objective findings were being analyzed by a scientific advisory panel of Medical Doctors, Chiropractic Doctors, and PH.D Scientists that approve or deny publications in main stream peer reviewed journals.

In March of 2007, Dr. Lofton became Federally Certified in Auriculo-Therapy by the American College of Addictions and Compulsive Disorders.  He also received an Advanced Proficiency rating and certification in the Torque Release Technique.

Dr. Lofton currently is the President of the Minnesota Christian Chiropractic Association where he and many others strive to bring the message of health and healing, through Jesus Christ, to the forefront in healthcare.  He also serves as a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, International Chiropractic Association, Christian Chiropractic Association, and The World Chiropractic Alliance.

Dr. Lofton is very passionate about Christianity and Chiropractic and believes that these are two of the best kept secrets that need to be talked about more often and taught on a global level.  Some of his passions are: serving people, loving people, educating people, and empowering people today to change the world tomorrow.  He believes in life changing choices; act now or lose later in life.

In between accomplishing the vision that God has placed in Dr. Lofton, he loves to spend time exercising, hunting, competing and watching every type of dirt and pavement racing known to mankind, camping with his family, watching his children race and compete in numerous sports, and watching his beautiful children excel and grow up in life.

Dr. Lofton is a proud father of three girls and three boys and is happily married to a beautiful woman who enjoys most everything he does.  His family consists of his wife Kathryn and his six children: Alexis, Bryce, Carley, Destiney, Elijah, and Forester.  The family enjoys going on their traditional vacations in the summer to the Water Park and to the Mountains in the winter.

There goal is to be together and travel around the world fulfilling their purpose that God has called them to do in life.

Dr. Lance A. Zimney

Lance A. Zimney was born and raised in Jamestown, ND.  He had his first experience with chiropractic at the age of seven when he began wetting the bed.  His grandmother recommended he see a chiropractor(her son had a similar issue when he was a child) and within a few short visits the interference to the bladder was removed and....problem solved!!!

Dr. Zimney attended Jamestown High School where he played varsity ice hockey, football, golf, and wrestled.  However, the sports he excelled in were track and cross country.  His senior year he led his team to the State title in cross country, where he was the individual runner-up.  He also was runner-up in the State mile and 2-mile.

Dr. Zimney was recruited to his hometown college were he ran cross country and track with an Academic Scholarship to the Nursing Program. There, he competed in distances ranging from the 1000m and steeplechase on up to 10,000m.   He got to celebrate many Conference and District championships with his team. His younger siblings followed him to the same college where all 3 were individual conference champions in cross country.  “Running with my brother and sister are some of my fondest memories I have”, stated Dr. Zimney.

In his junior year of school, Dr. Zimney moved into the clinical/hospital setting of the Nursing Program.  It was there on the Medical/Surgical floor where he saw the pain and suffering that goes on first hand with people there and he knew there had to be a way to help these people before they reached this state of crisis.  Therefore, he switched his major to biology knowing, deep down, there was a career that could answer his prayers.  Dr. Zimney graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1997.  His love of fitness, sport, and personal achievement brought him to Denver, Colorado after graduation.  He became a personal trainer with 24-Hour Fitness, but didn't quite feel fulfilled in that career.  After a few years and a few moves, his aunt, a nurse, and uncle, a chiropractor, suggested he give chiropractic a try.

So in 2000 he applied for school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.  In April, 2004 Dr. Zimney received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.  In July 2005, he and fellow classmate, Dr. Wade A. Lofton, opened the doors to LifeForce Family Chiropractic in Savage, MN.  It is here that he specializes in Torque Release Technique and Auriculotherapy.

Each day he's greeted by smiles from practice members whose lives' have been transformed.  He knows there are very few limits to what we can accomplish and offers all people a chance to regain the livelihood they once maintained.  “My biggest goal is helping people get their life back!” Chiropractic has helped him get his life back.  Dr. Zimney works everyday with a fractured spine and disc degeneration in his middle and low back.  “I used to run over 2,000 miles a year”, he said. “I abused my body physically for many years.”  In 1996, he fractured his lower neck from a snowboarding fall in Idaho, however, he didn't find out about it until a follow-up x-ray to assess the correction of spinal degeneration was taken in 2006.

“I thank the Lord everyday for the ability to function near 100%.  I have no symptoms today, because I keep my nervous system free from interference on a regular basis.  Chiropractic has enabled me to continue to play hard and not have to suffer the consequences.”  In 2003, Dr. Zimney qualified for the Boston Marathon while running only 2 days per week.  In August 2009 he competed in his first 24 Hour mountain bike race with 4 friends(each rode approximately 50 miles).  He still plays ice hockey, snowboards, wake boards, rock climbs, and occasionally runs.  In July 2009 he ran a 5:48 mile at the Are You Faster Than the Doctor Event (with little training).  He still has a goal of completing his first triathlon and would like to break the 5 minute barrier again in the mile before he reaches age 40(he ran 4:23 in 1991).

Dr. Adam Lilla

Dr. Adam D. Lilla has been living in the south metro for 5 years. Originally from Winona, Minnesota, Dr. Lilla attended Winona State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  He attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.  Dr. Lilla is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has completed extensive postgraduate studies in Torque Release Technique.  Torque Release Technique (TRT) provides a unique chiropractic adjustment and provides a gentle, effective approach to renewed health and relief of discomfort for the entire family.

Dr. Lilla has based the foundation of true health on “3 Core Principles”. 1.) Our bodies were created to be healthy, self-regulating, and self-healing. 2.) Our nervous system is the Master System of our body.  3.) The stress of everyday life interferes with and overwhelms our body’s ability to heal and function properly.  The nerve interference caused by stress has a direct correlation to the loss of our health and quality of life.

Dr. Lilla is married to Stephanie Fritch Lilla, who has received her Doctorate of Medicine Degree.  The background that each of them share together, aids in a unique understanding of health in today’s confusing healthcare world. They enjoy spending their time together and are often seen walking their dog around Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, MN. They recently rescued him from The Heartland Weimaraner Rescue and he has been both a rewarding and welcomed addition to their family.

Dr. Lilla has a special interest in working with those suffering from fatigue, anxiety, depression, and addictions.

Katie J. Lofton

Katie Joann Lofton was born in Akron IA and raised in Valley Springs, SD.  She was raised on an animal farm where they raised exotic animals.  She has 1 brother and 2 younger sisters who reside in South Dakota.  Katie graduated from Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, SD where she participated in Basketball and Softball.  While in the last two months of her senior year she met her future husband (Wade A. Lofton).  In 1998 Katie and Wade had their first of six children who they named Alexis June Lofton.  In 1999 they moved to Bloomington, Minnesota to pursue her husband’s career of changing lives through Chiropractic.

Katie worked various jobs while her husband attended graduate school and in September of 2000 they had their second child Bryce Arnett Lofton.  After having two children Katie decided to start her own daycare business and stay at home with their children in their new home in Burnsville, Minnesota.  As time passed Katie started thinking about her life long dream of being a Massage Therapist and in 2004 she was accepted into Aveda Institute of Massage Therapy School in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After a long and stressful year of school, due to her third pregnancy, she graduated as a Certified Massage Therapist.

In 2005, Katie started working as the Chiropractic Assistant, Office Manager, Insurance Coordinator, and Massage Therapist for LifeForce Family Chiropractic in Savage, Minnesota; the Chiropractic facility that her husband envisioned would someday bring Jesus Christ to the forefront in healthcare.  As you can see, Katie is a go to person and knows just about every position at LifeForce Family Chiropractic, with the exception of being the Doctor, ha.  Katie currently is the Insurance Coordinator and oversees almost every position to make sure that all systems are running efficiently.

Katie and Wade currently have three beautiful girls and three wild boys that most times are all a very big handful, but fun and exciting!  From oldest to youngest their names are Alexis, Bryce, Carley, Destiney, Elijah, and Forester.  Everyone asks them when are they going to say quits in regards to having children and their answer always seems to bring some sort of smile or interesting expression to peoples faces; We will have as many as God blesses us with and trusts us with while here on earth!

Katie enjoys her family and having the children involved in numerous activities and sports.  Her passion is to raise Children and spend a lot of money, while doing it!  She loves the outdoors, hunting/fishing, watching and participating in racing of all sorts, and watching football with her husband.  She is a man’s gal and fits right in with all of the guys if you know what I mean…

Katie and her family attend Celebration Church in Lakeville on most Sundays along with Christ Family Church of Eden Prairie, where they attend on Wednesday nights.  Their family strives to become closer to God more and more each day so they can some day look back and know that they have done good in setting an example and groundwork for their indefinite number of children, ha…..!

Laura Edwards

Laura Edwards was born in St. Paul, MN and resided in White Bear Lake until she was seven years old.  Then her family moved to Worthington, MN where she grew up.  She graduated from Worthington Sr. High School and married soon after.  In 2005 she and her husband moved to Burnsville, MN.

Over the years Laura had excelled at providing customer service working for retailers J.C. Penney and Wal-Mart and Pro-Phase Marketing, a call center.  She had also done day care from out of her home after her third child was born, and found that wasn't for her.  And she had always wanted to work somewhere that made a difference, where it wasn't just about making a profit.

She began praying that God would provide such a job for her!  Due to her past work history she was confident she was considered very employable and didn't want to apply at any old place that was hiring and get offered a job somewhere God didn't truly intend for her to be at.  She specifically prayed for God to place the job in front of her so she would know it was where he wanted her to be in life.  She faithfully prayed for this for about six months, then one day at bible study a new lady sat at her usual table.  When the study was over and the lady got up to leave she pointed out a “Now Hiring” flier for LifeForce Family Chiropractic that she had set on the table.  Without even reading it, Laura immediately knew it was God answering her prayer as it had literally been placed on the table in front of her.

What Laura found when she went to the interview was a faith-based chiropractic office whose vision was to teach the two best kept secrets: Christianity and Chiropractic.  Here was the job where making a difference was the bottom line, not making a profit.  She accepted the Chiropractic Assistant job and began working for LifeForce Family Chiropractic in December 2005.

In February 2006 she completed the Chiropractic Assistant Program at the Northwestern College of Chiropractic Gathering.  Since then she has been to several seminars to learn more about the Chiropractic profession and it's principals.

Currently, Laura is working from home for LifeForce Family Chiropractic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota via the awesome state of the art computer system that Dr. Lofton created through a vision that God placed upon his heart while driving home from work one night.  Laura currently does not have a title due to her not being in the facility physically, but she is the rock that most of us lean on when in need of help or someone good to delegate a hard duty to and know that it will be done and done with excellence.  Laura is an awesome asset to LifeForce Family Chiropractic and only needs to improve on her monotone voice that everyone loves and adores, especially Dr. Lofton; that's a joke!

Laura enjoys spending her non-working hours with her husband and four children, taking the kids swimming, going on evening walks, visiting family, being involved at church along with her girls, baking, reading, and occasionally watching a good movie.
